Discussion Group for Parents of Gifted Children Begins October 15th

Parents who are raising bright and gifted children are invited to join the Raising Wizards Discussion Group meeting for ten weeks at the Simsbury Public Library beginning Thursday, October 15th. Up to ten parents will meet from 10:00 am - 11:30 am to discuss the popular book, “A Parent’s Guide to Gifted Children.” Lisa Natcharian, a local parenting coach and trained parent group facilitator, will moderate the discussion, which will include understanding gifted children, characteristics of gifted children, motivation, perfectionism, underachievement, peers, twice exceptional children, and finding a good school fit.
