Make A Donation, Save A Life At Avon Blood Drive

AVON, CT — It's never a cliché to say that giving blood is giving the gift of life — it's a fact.

And in Avon on Monday, Feb. 13, the day before Valentine's Day, folks can show their love for their fellow man by donating some of their blood to, possibly, save the lives of others.

The Avon Senior Center, located at 635 W. Avon Road, Avon, and the American Red Cross are seeking folks to register to donate blood that day.

Monday's blood drive will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the senior center.
