Donate Blood/Get Godzilla Shirt At Avon FD Event

AVON, CT — The Avon Volunteer Fire Department is teaming up with the American Red Cross for a special blood drive this week that could save lives.

The event will take place Friday morning, March 29, from 8:45 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the AVFD's meeting hall, 25 Darling Drive, Avon.

There, Red Cross officials and volunteers will be looking to restock area blood supplies, which are always in need of replenishing.

And for a limited number of blood benefactors, there is a special "Godzilla v. Kong: The New Empire" t-shirt waiting.
