Dreaming Of Summer? Avon Rec Is Already Hiring

AVON, CT — Given the current weather and the expected weather this weekend, summer is a long way off both on the calendar and in folks' hearts and minds.

However, the Town of Avon is already hiring for numerous summer openings in 2026.

More specifically, the Avon Recreation and Parks Department is hiring for a variety of summer positions for 2026, jobs that are perfect for local high school and college students.

"Come join us for a fun and exciting summer," wrote the town in an announcement.
