Dump Permits For 2024-25 Available In Avon

They can be purchased in person at Avon Town Hall or via online means.

AVON, CT — With the onset of a new month that started Monday comes the onset of a new permitting season regarding the Town of Avon's landfill/transfer station.

Local officials said 2024-25 permits are now available for purchase and pick up at the Collector of Revenue Office at Avon Town Hall.

Transfer station permit options are:

• Residential Full - $125
• Senior Full - (older than 62 years old ) $65
• Recycle Only - $40.

The 2024-25 Permit Cycle runs from July 1 to June 30, 2025.

Online Permit sales (recommended) began on June 24. Online payment alternatives are Debit/Credit Card, or E-Check, via the following hyperlink: https://www.avonct.gov/collector-of-revenue/pages/transfer-stationlandfill

Direct in-person payments via cash or check are available at two locations: the Avon Collector of Revenue Office (Avon Town Hall, Building 2) and the landfill/transfer station office.

Physical permit tags will be issued at either location during normal business hours.

If permits are purchased online, allow two business days before picking up, at either location, and present a government-issued ID at the time of pick up.
