The community is invited to the grand opening and dedication of the "new" Avon Free Public Library. A brief program will be held at 1:30 with speeches by dignitaries. Activities include tours, music by AHS students, rededication of Marian Hunter History Room, balloon artists, special guest Curious George and a showing of the Oscar nominee short film "The fantastic flying books of Morris lessmore." Refreshments will be served.
