The Farmington Valley Arts Center unveils a whimsical display of one-of-a-kind "TAG Art" in its Esther Drezner Visitors' Gallery at a free opening reception. Dozens of local and regional artists have transformed hundreds of everyday manila luggage tags into exquisite accents, and this show and sale of beautiful, functional art--which can be framed or used to adorn anything from drawers to holiday gifts--provides visitors with an opportunity to own an original work while supporting local artists and the FVAC's mission to connect the community to all aspects of art-making.
The show remains on view Wednesday through Saturday from noon until 4 p.m. through September 29, as well as by appointment.
