Update: Explosion Reported at Connecticut Natural Gas in East Hartford
Reports are coming in that people were injured after an explosion at Connecticut Natural Gas on Meadow Street in East Hartford.

Update: An employee doing maintenance work on a refueling station caused a fire that led to a small explosion, according to the Hartford Courant. The fire was extinguished by 1 p.m. and one person was taken to the hospital with first-degree burns.
Reports are coming in that people were injured after an explosion at Connecticut Natural Gas on Meadow Street in East Hartford.
Police told WTNH that people were injured, but didn’t know the extent of injuries.

Nearby businesses have been evacuated. Some reported that they heard and felt an explosion, according to NBC Connecticut.
