Family Program: Back to School at the Connecticut Historical Society

Celebrate getting back to school - the old-fashioned way! Make a hornbook and try out some classic toys at our free family program.

Celebrate getting back to school - the old-fashioned way! Make a hornbook, practice writing with a quill pen, and try out some classic toys, like cups and balls, whirligigs, rolling hoops, and the game of graces.

Please note that during the run of the ”Katharine Hepburn: Dressed for Stage and Screen” exhibit, Free 1st Saturday Family Activities do not include free admission to the museum galleries.
