FBI Makes Internet Ripoff Reporting Form Available to Avon Residents for the Holiday Shopping Period

The FBI posted a quick link to a internet crime reporting form over the weekend.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation has reached out to area residents who think they may be victims of a scam or plain old ripoff when ordering gifts online this holiday season.

"Be careful shopping online this holiday season," FBI agents from the Internet Crime Complaint Center, or IC3, said in a Sunday night Twitter post. "If you are the victim of a scam or internet fraud, report it ..."

The IC3 accepts online Internet crime complaints from either the actual victim or from a third party to the complainant, agents said.
