Free Tax Help Available To Qualifying Avon Residents
The Avon Senior Center is collecting appointments for seniors to meet with AARP volunteers starting next week.
AVON, CT — With January nearly complete and the W-2 forms arriving, now comes the difficult task of planning when to file income taxes.
For some in Avon, there is free tax assistance available to middle- and low-income taxpayers starting next week.
The Avon Senior Center, 635 West Avon Road, Avon, is accepting appointments for the sessions, which are geared toward folks aged 50 and over.

There, AARP volunteers will help seniors with their tax forms and answer any questions they ight have.
Appointments will be available every Wednesday starting on Wednesday, Feb. 4, through Wednesday, April 15.
