Gun Safety Forum Slated In Avon

AVON, CT — Regardless of political stands regarding the issue of guns in the country, safety around them is a useful piece of knowledge for all sides.

An Avon church early next week is hosting a special panel discussion on how folks can keep themselves safe around firearms.

The forum will take place in the fellowship hall at the Avon Congregational Church, 6 W. Main St., Avon, from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

It will feature a panel consisting of a local police officer, a firearms safety instructor, and an expert on conservatorships and trusts.
