Hours Revised For Avon Pet Pantry In February

AVON, CT — The town's pet pantry has announced some changes in operations for the month of February.

Just like a community food pantry helps those struggling economically with food, the pet pantry is aimed at helping pet owners feed their beloved animals during tough economic times.

The Avon Pet Pantry is located in the town's animal control facility at 11 Arch Road, Avon.

For February, the Avon Pet Pantry will be closed on the first Tuesday of the month and instead will be open the second Tuesday (Feb. 10) from 10 a.m. to noon.

Donations to the Avon Pet Pantry may be made electronically via PAYPAL or made via check to Avon Pet Pantry and dropped off or mailed to Avon Department of Social Services, 60 W. Main St., Avon, CT 06001. Donations of pet food and care items are also appreciated.
