Ever wonder who implements, oversees and enforces the state’s coastal management program? Have you ever heard of cold stunning in sea turtles?

Meet Katie Perzanowski, an Environmental Analyst with the State of Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP), where she focuses on Coastal enforcement and protecting CT’s tidal wetlands. In addition to her full time career, Katie also helps rehabilitate sick and/or injured marine mammals and turtles through volunteering with Mystic Aquarium’s Animal Rescue Program.
This program is Wed., April 28th, 4:00-5:00 PM for those who identify as girls, Grades 7-12.

Prior to the program, first time program attendees may receive a call to confirm registration information for safety issues. If we are unable to confirm information, you will not be let in the day of the program.
Registration will CLOSE 1 hour before the program.
