Miller Foods in Avon, a poultry business that is also the home of Oma’s Pride pet food, invites all local veterans to a Turkey Chili Dinner on Tuesday, Nov. 10 from 4 to 7 p.m.

Members of the Avon Volunteer Fire Department will prepare the chili with ground turkey provided by Miller Foods. Cornbread and hot dogs are also on the menu, as well as desserts including pies from Miller Foods and ice cream donated by J Foster. Local Boy Scouts will serve up the food.

This is the fourth consecutive year the family-owned and operated business has hosted the event, one in a series called “Thanks for Giving” that the Miller Foods family designed to show appreciation to service groups in the community.
