Longtime Avon Coach Elected to State Hall of Fame
He and nine other individuals will be inducted into the Connecticut High School Coaches Association Hall of Fame in November.

AVON, CT — A longtime Avon High School coach is among 10 individuals who will be honored at the 41st annual Connecticut High School Coaches Association Hall of Fame ceremony this fall.
Albert Dadario has coached girls cross country and boys and girls track, including indoor track, at Avon High School since 1996, posting a total coaching record of 430-95. His teams have won four state championships, three state runner-up finishes and 12 league titles. He has seven cross country league titles and 11 undefeated teams in three girls sports. His teams have had one losing season in 21 years in indoor and outdoor track.
Coaches Jaye Stuart (Shepaug Valley, Litchfield), Robert Marcella (Holy Cross), Joseph Sinicrope (Suffield), Bill Cardarelli (Saint Thomas Aquinas), Mary Michailidis (Stamford) and the late Will Hunter (Conard), athletic director/coaches Tracy Nichols (Trinity Catholic) and John H. Schiffner (Plainfield) and media member Lori Riley (Hartford Courant) will also be inducted.

The induction dinner will take place Nov. 16 at the Aqua Turf in Southington at 7 p.m. Tickets for the dinner are $46, and are available in advance by contacting the CHSCA office at P.O.
