Love Meatloaf? Avon Congregational Church's First Friday Dinner Is For You

AVON, CT — The Avon Congregational Church will host its monthly First Friday Dinner on May 1 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at its location at 6 W. Main St.

The featured meal, themed “Sunday Meatloaf,” includes a beef and pork meatloaf prepared with shallots, herbs, and spices.

The dinner will also include creamy whipped potatoes with butter, herbed green beans, tossed salad with homemade champagne vinaigrette, fresh-baked rolls, and a dessert buffet with coffee and tea.

The cost is $20 per person. Organizers said takeout options will be available, and no reservations are required.
