Maximum Beverage West Hartford to host special guest David Turcan for tasting of Allegrini Wines

WEST HARTFORD – A wine tasting event featuring award-winning Allegrini Wines and special guest David Turcan will be presented Friday, Sept. 12 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Maximum Beverage. Turcan, a wine ambassador from LUX Wines whose focus is Allegrini’s portfolio of Italian wines, is making a rare visit to Connecticut for this event.
Raised on his family’s vineyard in Provence, France, Turcan received a degree in chemical engineering/project management and then moved to Burgundy, where he earned an MBA in International Wine and Spirits Trade. He put his upbringing and education into practice at wineries throughout the Rhine Valley and Languedoc before relocating to Boston as the national representative for Meffre Winery. He later joined Commonwealth Wine & Spirits and earlier this year, took the position with LUX Wines.
