Clemson University, Clemson SC

• Jennifer C. Greenfield of Avon has been named to the President's List at Clemson University for the fall 2017 semester. She is majoring in Marketing. To be named to the President's List, a student must achieve a 4.0 (all As) grade-point average.
• A pair of students from Avon have been named to the Dean's List at Clemson University for the fall 2017 semester. They are Katherine Effie Lombard, whose major is Biological Sciences, and Sean P. Neagle, whose major is Economics To be named to the Dean's List, a student achieved a grade-point average between 3.50 and 3.99 on a 4.0 scale.

Iowa State University, Ames IA

• The Iowa State University College of Human Sciences Dean's List honors students who have earned a grade point average of 3.5 or higher. Students who made the list in the fall of 2017 include Allison Kirstukas of Avon, majoring in apparel, merchandising, and design.

Wheaton College, Wheaton IL

• Wheaton College student Carlye Poff of Avon was named to the Dean's List for the fall 2017 semester.
  To earn Dean's List honors at Wheaton, an undergraduate student must carry 12 or more credit hours and achieve a 3.5 grade point average or higher on the 4.0 scale.

Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Worcester MA

• Frank Campanelli of Avon, a member of the class of 2019 majoring in computer science at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, was a member of a student team that recently completed an intense, hands-on research project in Nantucket. The project was titled Estimating the Effective Population of Nantucket.
