New Avon Rec Program To Teach Art Of Reiki

AVON, CT —The ancient eastern art of Reiki is center to a new program being offered this spring by the Avon Recreation and Parks Department.

Called "Reiki First Degree," the six-hour program will teach the art and science of Reiki for self-support and emotional well being, according to the town.

Those interested has two options available, but space is limited "as this is a reduced-cost class to encourage self-care," according to the department.

It will take place at the Avon Senior Center May 6 and June 4.
