New Avon Store's Goal Is To Eliminate Foot Pain

AVON, CT — A new store in town opened up last week specializing in custom-made footware that aims to take care of folks' aching feet.

The Good Feet Store is located at 25 Climax Road, Suite 100, Avon, in the Avon Village Center — next to the Whole Foods Market.

It is a manufacturer of personally fitted arch supports for every foot and lifestyle.

Represented by new management, Feet First Partners, this is currently the only Good Feet Store location in Connecticut and joins several existing locations in Massachusetts, according to a release issued by the company.

The store opened Nov. 18 and its hours are Monday to Saturday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

"Personally fitted Good Feet Arch Supports help correct poor foot biomechanics to relieve pain and discomfort in the feet, as well as knees, hips and back — ultimately improving balance and skeletal alignment," wrote Good Feet in a release. "Hundreds of styles, flexibilities and sizes are available to address the complexities of each person’s feet."
