New Avon Transfer Station Permits For Sale, What You Need To Know

AVON, CT — A new fiscal year is about to begin July 1 and that means its also time to get a new transfer station permit for 2023-24.

The Town of Avon this week released information about how to get the permits, which allow folks to dispose of waste items at the Avon Transfer Station, 281 Huckleberry Road, Avon.

Permits are on sale now and cost $125 for a residential permit; $65 for a senior citizen; and $40 for a recycling only permit.

There are many ways to purchase a permit and they can either be purchased at town hall in person or electronically.
