Open Call For Applications

Would you like to work with fellow Avon residents to help fund effective, efficient projects that benefit our Avon community? Consider applying for the Avon Greater Together Community Fund Advisory Committee!

The Hartford Foundation for Public Giving established the Avon Community Fund in 2019. The role of the Advisory Committee is to design and lead an inclusive process to identify the needs in our community and a grant-making process to ensure that the Greater Together Community Funds have the greatest impact for the benefit of Avon residents.

The Avon Greater Together Community Fund Advisory Committee is inclusive and reflective of all Avon residents. Therefore, the committee is prioritizing recruitment of different perspectives that are in need of representation on the committee. With the exception of elected officials, participation in the Avon Greater Together Advisory Committee is open to all Avon residents ages 14 and older.
