Presidents Day 2026 Impacts Announced In Avon
Monday is Presidents Day, with towns and cities across Connecticut announcing multiple impacts on services.
AVON, CT — This Monday is Presidents Day, and several municipal impacts in town offices and schools have recently been announced.
In the Town of Avon, all municipal departments, including town offices, public works, and the Avon Senior Center, will be closed on Monday, Feb. 16, in observance of the holiday.
In addition, the Avon Free Public Library will also be closed that day, town officials said.

In Avon schools, both Monday, Feb. 16, and Tuesday, Feb. 17, are days off for students, with schools closed for Winter Recess.
