RE/MAX INTEGRA, New England September Housing Report
Year-over-year sales increased by 15.2%.
The residential market in New England remained strong through September 2015, with sales up 15% and pending sales up 14% over September 2014. New Hampshire led this growth with an impressive 20% increase in sales year-over-year, while average days on market in the state decreased by 12.5%.
Month-over-month, the market followed traditional seasonal trends with a 10.7% decrease in sales and slight decrease in median price.
In Connecticut, the number of total transactions were up 15.6% year-over-year while median price increased 1.1%. Pending sales were up 20.0% year-over-year, the second highest in New England behind RI.

“We’ve seen steady improvement over the 2014 market since May of this year,” said Dan Breault, EVP/Regional Director of RE/MAX INTEGRA, New England. “While we’re seeing the market slow down, as it typically does after the busy summer season, it’s encouraging to see continued year-over-year growth as we move into the fall.”
