Ride Your Bike With Avon Town Council
Avon's top elected officials will be sitting atop two wheels on Thursday, May 9, for a special riding event with the public.
AVON, CT — The Avon Town Council is having a meeting on Thursday, May 9 — sort of.
Instead of sitting in chairs surrounding a table, council members will put on helmets and sit atop two wheels as part of the Avon Town Council Bike Ride.
The relaxing, informal event is being hosted by Bike Walk Avon CT, a local grassroots bicycling organization in town.
