'Rosie the Riveter' Model Mary Keefe Once Talked About Her Experiences in Avon

A flashback from 2009 when Keefe talked about the famous painter. She recently passed away.

Mary Doyle Keefe, the model for Norman Rockwell’s iconic 1943 Rosie the Riveter painting once visited Avon to give a talk about the famous painter.

Keefe, who passed away last week at the age of 92 spoke at an Avon Historical Society event in 2009. The event drew a large crowd.

She talked about how she came to be Norman Rockwell’s model for the painting.
