'Sleepy Hollow' Topic of Lecture This Month

AVON, CT — The Avon Historical Society is presenting a series of lectures, music and poetry

for its 2017 fall season. All events take place at the Avon Senior and Community Center.

Programs are free of charge but donations are always appreciated to support the Society.

A presentation titled, "The Extinct Milling Community of Sleepy Hollow" is scheduled for Monday, Sept. 11 at 7 p.m.

The program includes an Introduction by Sleepy Hollow descendant Doug Ross and a lecture by Janet

Conner, head of special projects for the Avon Historical Society.
