Software Transition Impacts Avon's Tax Collection Office

AVON, CT — A computer software transition in the Town of Avon's tax office has local officials asking folks making online tax payments to print out their receipts.

"Please note that the Collector of Revenue's Office is transitioning to a new software as well as a new online payment vendor," wrote the town in an announcement last week.

"Any payment made online or in the office on or after Feb, 28 is currently not reflected through our online portal. If you are making a payment, please print and save your receipt."

To confirm a tax payment, call the Avon Collector of Revenue's Office at 860-409-4308 one business day following your payment date.
