Special Swedish Theme Dinner Slated At Avon Church
The Avon Congregational Church Friday, Feb. 7, is hosting its annual 'First Friday Dinner.'
AVON, CT — The regular "First Friday Dinner" at the Avon Congregational Church will take place this Friday evening between Thursday and Saturday's predicted snowstorms.
It will take place at 6 W. Main St., Avon, on Friday, Feb. 7, from 5:30 to 7 p.m.
The menu will have a sort of Scandinavian take, with Swedish meatballs, egg noodles and carrots as well as special Swedish limpa bread.

As always, the church will have its popular “dessert buffet,” which includes coffee and tea to complete the evening.
Cost is $20 per person. Take-out is available.
