Avon Scout Troop 274 Holiday Tree and Wreath Sale and Can and Bottle Drive happening soon!

Avon Scout Troop 274 Holiday Tree and Wreath stand is getting underway this Sunday, Nov. 21, with their holiday wreaths for sale. Trees will be arriving soon and go on sale the day after Thanksgiving – Friday, Nov. 26!

Being held again outside J. Foster’s Ice Cream at the corner of Bailey Road and Route 44 in Avon, the Scout Tree Stand will be open Sunday, Nov. 21, from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. for wreath sales. Tree and wreath sales begin Friday, Nov. 26 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and continue Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Fridays starting Dec. 3 from 4 to 7 p.m.

The Avon Scout Can and Bottle Drive will also be happening Dec. 4 at the tree stand from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Drop off your redeemable cans and bottles and have Scouts help you pick out the perfect tree while you’re there!

All proceeds from the Can and Bottle Drive and Holiday Tree and Wreath Sales go to Scouts attending High Adventure trips this summer!

Be sure to look for Avon Scouts at the upcoming Winter Fest being held in Avon Dec. 4. Scouts will be selling wreaths and, at the conclusion of the festival, will auction off a 10-foot tree that will be adorning the pop-up ice rink.
