Do you know a middle schooler who is interested in learning about the stock market? How about why countries are rich or poor, and what makes a good economy? Or how to plan for the future? What if you could learn all of this, while also competing for a cash prize?

We are two high schoolers who have launched the Connecticut Economic Literacy Initiative, where we will go over these concepts and many more. We had tremendous growth in the past months, with developments such as being recognized by the CT State Treasurer and NPR’s “All Things Considered” Host, as well as partnering with an increasing number of middle schools.

This is a 100% free and 100 % virtual program. We will have fun activities such as groups of buyers and sellers, trade simulations, stock picking activities (with a cash prize for the winner), and much more!
