Valley kids ready for national MATH competition!!

For the first time, Farmington Valley’s elementary school students have a chance at participating in a national level math competition - the Trimathlon.
Organised annually, this is the 5th year of the event when Farmington Valley students in Avon, Simsbury, Farmington and Canton have the opportunity to participate in the event hosted locally by Mathnasium of Avon on October 18th!
This math competition is also a fundraiser for local PTOs as every participants raises $10 towards their PTO. There is NO FEE to participate and any student from 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th grade can participate and help their PTO.

The registrations started last week and Squadron Line School in Simsbury leads the number of registered participants, followed by Pine Grove and Roaring Brook Schools of Avon. Of course its too early to tell which PTO will end up with the highest number of registrations as registrations close 15th October.
