Visit The Avon Volunteer Fire Department At Open House This Weekend
The AVFD invites residents to enjoy tours, trucks, and firefighter meet-and-greets.
AVON, CT — Residents in Avon are invited to get an inside look at their local fire service during an upcoming open house hosted by the Avon Volunteer Fire Department.
The event is scheduled for Sunday, April 26, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Co. 3, located at 490 West Avon Road.
Organizers say the open house is designed to give community members a first-hand view of what volunteer firefighters do and how the department operates.
