World War II exhibits highlight military service of local veterans

There’s a WWII Harley-Davidson motorcycle with sidecar in the Avon Public Library!
Colonel Morton Katz, a WWII Veteran with the 505th parachute Infantry, 82nd Airborne Division, posed for a picture on the 1942 Harley that’s on display at the Avon Library this summer....it’s all part of the amazing summer we have planned for you and your family!
Ongoing exhibit: “A Tribute to World War II Veterans of Avon’s VFW Post 3272 On Their 70th Anniversary” – military service histories of WWII veterans, commemorative photographs, landmark events timeline, World War II memorabilia, uniforms, weapons, and World War II motorcycle with sidecar.
