2014 Berlin Holiday Assistance Program says 'Thank You!'

The 2014 Berlin Holiday Assistance Program, sponsored by the Town of Berlin’s Community Services Department, provided food at Thanksgiving and food and gifts for children at Christmas to over 250 local families in need of assistance.

This Program would not be possible without many hours of work by dedicated volunteers and the financial support of the community. We are especially grateful to the Joseph Manzi Foundation, Ryan T. Lee Memorial Foundation, and the Berlin Lions Club for their significant contributions, as well as local schools, churches, many Berlin businesses, organizations and residents who provided food, gift cards, cash donations, and gifts for children.

The generosity of both the donors and the volunteers was above and beyond what was anticipated.

Our sincere thanks to everyone who contributed to the success on the 2014 Berlin Holiday Assistance Program, making the holiday season a more enjoyable time for our fellow Berlin residents.
