9 Incidents Of Recent Theft From Cars In Berlin
Police said there have been nine thefts from vehicles so far this month.

BERLIN, CT - Police report that since the beginning of May, there's been a sharp uptick in theft from motor vehicles.
"These crimes have mostly taken place on the west side of Town," police said in a statement. "We have increased our patrols in these areas, but we need your help. We are asking residents to be extra vigilant and to call us immediately upon seeing suspicious vehicles, persons, and activity."

οΆ Remove valuables from your vehicle or hide them from view, including garage door openers.
οΆ Lock car doors and roll windows up.
οΆ Don't leave vehicles running and unattended (unless you have an automatic starter, of course.)
οΆ Report any suspicious activity when you see it. Do not wait until later!
οΆ Leave exterior lights on.
Police said theft from motor vehicles occurred at the following locations and on the following dates: Gladding Place, May 6; Farmington Avenue, May 8; Vineyard Drive, May 11 and 12; West Lane, May 17; Winesap Road, May 11; three incidents at South Slope Drive, May 12.
