BERLIN/WETHERSFIELD/NEWINGTON/ROCKY HILL, CT — Berlin, Wethersfield, Newington, and Rocky Hill residents are encouraged to participate in a new community health survey being conducted by the Central Connecticut Health District.
The survey is part of a Community Health Needs Assessment aimed at gathering information about residents’ health concerns, access to services and priorities for improving public health programs in the region.
The Central Connecticut Health District serves Berlin, Newington, Rocky Hill, and Wethersfield.
According to the district, the survey asks participants to rate the importance of various health and community issues and describe how difficult it is to access related services and resources in their communities.
Officials said the survey is divided into two sections focused on community health concerns and demographic information and should take less than 10 minutes to complete.
Participation is voluntary and confidential, and respondents are asked to complete the survey only once.
“The Central Connecticut Health District is conducting a Community Health Needs Assessment Survey,” the Town of Berlin said in a social media post Friday. “Your input helps us understand community strengths, challenges, and priorities so CCHD can better support our residents.”
Paper copies of the survey are also available at the health district’s office at 2080 Silas Deane Highway in Rocky Hill.
The district said completion of the survey indicates the participant is at least 18 years old.
