BERLIN, CT — Berlin town officials and department leaders will host the town’s annual Community Outreach event on Wednesday, May 27, at 1 p.m. at the Berlin Senior Center.
The program will offer residents information about local programs and services available in the community.
According to the Town of Berlin, representatives from multiple departments and agencies are expected to attend, including the Superintendent’s Office, Town Manager’s Office, Town Clerk, Berlin Police Department, Fire Department, Parks and Recreation Department, Library, Social Services, Senior Services, Berlin Visiting Nurse Association and the Central Connecticut Health District.
Town officials said the event is designed to help residents — particularly seniors — learn about services and resources that may not be widely known.
Additional invited participants include police officers, social workers, library staff, and senior center leadership.
Town officials described the program as “an excellent fact-finding event” for community members interested in learning more about local services and support programs.
The event will take place at Berlin Senior Center, 33 Colonial Drive. Residents can sign up at the front desk or by calling 860-828-7006.
