Fourth Of July 2026: Berlin Announces Town Impacts

The Fourth of July is this Saturday, with the observed holiday taking place this Friday, July 3.

BERLIN, CT — With America celebrating a very, very special 250th birthday this Saturday, July 4, Berlin leaders have announced municipal impacts regarding services in town.

Berlin Town Hall and other municipal offices will close early Thursday and remain closed Friday in observance of the Independence Day holiday.

Town offices will close at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, July 2, and will remain closed on Friday, July 3.

The Berlin-Peck Memorial Library will also be closed on Friday, July 3, and Saturday, July 4, in observance of the holiday.

Residents planning to conduct town business or visit the library are encouraged to make arrangements before the holiday closures.

Municipal offices and the library are expected to resume their regular operating schedules following the holiday weekend.
