The patrols, scheduled for Aug. 27 and Sept. 3, aim to spot vegetation and maintenance issues to protect electric reliability during storm season.
   

• Berlin schools focus on future-ready skills as students return to class (newbritainherald.com) — Berlin Public Schools are launching the "Future Ready 2040" effort this year, updating curriculum and instruction so today's preschoolers graduate ready for 2040.
