BERLIN, CT — The Berlin Police Department has announced several recent personnel changes, including the graduation of two officers from the police academy and the addition of a new officer who is beginning his training.
Officers Shakespeare Rodriguez and Jenna Peck recently graduated from the New Britain Police Academy, the department announced Oct. 6.
Rodriguez and Peck will now begin the next phase of their training with Berlin Police Department field training officers.
"Say hi when you see them around town!" the department said in announcing their graduation.
The department also welcomed Officer Nicholas DiNicola to its ranks last month.
DiNicola was sworn in Sept. 17 during a ceremony at Berlin Town Hall. Police said he will attend the New Britain Police Academy as part of his training.
"Please welcome Officer DiNicola when you see him around town!" the department said.
