Bryant University, Smithfield RI

  • Inspired to excel, 788 members of Bryant University's Class of 2018, including four from Berlin, were awarded a Bryant degree at the University's 155th Commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 18. Kristopher Langevin graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science Business Administration degree in Team and Project Management. Ryan Lea graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science Business Administration degree in Accounting. Daniel McLeod graduated with a Bachelor of Science Business Administration degree in Finance. Tyler Shirley graduated with a Bachelor of Science Business Administration degree in Marketing.

Husson University, Bangor ME

  • East Berlin resident Mikayla Giana has been named to Husson University's President's List for the spring 2018 semester. Giana is a sophomore who is currently enrolled in Husson's Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Studies/Master of Science in Occupational Therapy program. Students who make the President's List must carry at least 12 graded credit hours during the semester and earn a grade point average of 3.80 to 4.0 during the period.

Roger Williams University, Bristol RI

  • Select students have been named to the spring 2018 Dean's List at Roger Williams University in Bristol, R.I. Full-time students who complete 12 or more credits per semester and earn a GPA of 3.4 or higher are placed on the Dean's List that semester. Honorees from Berlin are Samantha Bilinsky, Emily Dittmar, Ashley Rutledge, Matthew Vernacatola and Hannah Wade.
