BERLIN, CT — Here are some recent notable accomplishments by local college students, as provided by readMedia Newswire.

Eastern Connecticut State University, Willimantic CT

• Eastern's annual graduation ceremony was held at the XL Center in Hartford on May 15, with more than 12,000 family members and friends cheering on their sons and daughters, brothers and sisters, as 1,105 undergraduates and 85 graduate students received their diplomas. Alicia Maule of East Berlin graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education and Psychology. Marisa Bonola of Berlin graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.

Emmanuel College, Boston MA

• Samantha Graves of Berlin graduated on Saturday, May 12, 2018, during Emmanuel College's 96th Commencement Exercises on its campus in Boston. Graves received a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a concentration in Health Sciences during the ceremony.

Western New England University, Springfield MA

• Western New England University congratulates more than 700 students who received their academic degrees. Jordan Kradas of Berlin graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science/Civil Engineering. Benjamin Tencza of Berlin graduated with a Bachelor of Science/Civil Engineering. Michael Veronesi of Berlin graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering.
