Central Connecticut State University, New Britain CT

  • Tess Atkinson of Berlin has been named to the CCSU Dean's List for the spring 2018 semester.

  • Daniel Labbadia of Berlin was one of 196 student-athletes from SCSU named to the spring 2018 Northeast-10 Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll. In order to be eligible for selection, a student-athlete must have met and/or exceeded a minimum 3.0 semester grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) during the semester. Labbadia came in fourth overall out of 17 participants in this year's Northeast-10 Conference finals in the javelin event. The SCSU men's outdoor track team was the Northeast-10 Conference and New England Champions overall in 2018.

Stonehill College, Easton MA

  • Three students from Berlin have been named to the spring 2018 Dean's List at Stonehill College: Zoe Lavoie, Anthony Adamcewicz and Connor Ladd. To qualify for the Dean's List, students must have a semester grade point average of 3.50 or better and must have completed successfully all courses for which they were registered.

University of New Hampshire, Durham NH

  • The following students from Berlin have been named to the Dean's List at the University of New Hampshire for the spring 2018 semester: Matthew Morelli, with Honors; Alex Curtin, with High Honors; and Sara Roccapriore, with High Honors. Students named to the Dean's List at the University of New Hampshire are students who have earned recognition through their superior scholastic performance during a semester enrolled in a full-time course load (12 or more graded credits). Highest honors are awarded to students who earn a semester grade point average of 3.85 or better out of a possible 4.0. Students with a 3.65 to 3.84 average are awarded high honors and students whose grade point average is 3.5 through 3.64 are awarded honors.

University of Rhode Island, Kingston RI

  • At the University of Rhode Island's 132nd Commencement on Saturday and Sunday, May 19-20, 2018, about 3,300 undergraduate and 750 graduate students became the University's newest alumni. Arius Jaray Johnson of Berlin received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Marketing, and Jenna Leigh McNamara of Berlin received a Bachelor of Arts, Elementary Education Bachelor of Arts, Communication Studies Summa Cum Laude.
