Berlin Announces Labor Day Closings, Trash Schedule Impacts

All town facilities will be closed on Monday, Sept. 5, due to the holiday.

BERLIN, CT — The Town of Berlin has announced office closures and trash collection schedule revisions due to the upcoming Labor Day holiday weekend.

Town officials said all town departments will be closed on Monday, Sept. 5 , in observance of Labor Day.

In addition, the holiday will force trash customers to tweak their schedules as far as leaving their waste out for collection.

Local officials said there will be no trash/recycling on Monday, Sept. 5 and trash/recycling will be picked up one day later.
