Berlin Announces Presidents Day Town, School Impacts

BERLIN, CT — Another holiday weekend is upcoming and the Town of Berlin recently announced impacts from the Presidents Day holiday Feb. 20.

According to the town, all municipal departments will be closed on Monday, Feb. 20, in observance of the holiday.

This, however, will not impact the Town of Berlin's trash and recycling pickup that week, according to local officials.

The Berlin school system will not have class on Friday, Feb. 17, and Monday, Feb. 20, turning the Presidents Day holiday into a long, four-day weekend for students and staff.
