Berlin Artisan Opens Cuts of Wood

Cuts of Wood is a provider of unique and custom wood creations.

BERLIN, CT — Dave Cavedon, the owner of Cuts of Wood, recently celebrated a ribbon cutting at his Berlin location. Cuts of Wood is a provider of unique and custom wood creations that has been in business since October 2016. Cuts of Wood joins the Berlin Driving School, Sigmawear, Happy Garden, and Anna's Tailor Shop at 202 New Britain Road.

Dave has been a lifelong artisan who has always had a love of wood. After retiring as a police officer in West Hartford, he transformed woodworking from a hobby into an amazing and creative venture. The business started with wooden ornaments but now includes custom cutting boards, address plaques, business card holders, and so much more.

“Cuts of Wood is a great addition to the creative economy we see growing in Berlin. I look forward to seeing Dave be successful here in town," Mayor Mark Kaczynski said.
