Berlin Council OK's New Golf Fees, Other Town Fees
Officials last week said 'yes' to a new fee schedule for the town-owned golf course, along with new fees for myriad municipal services.
BERLIN, CT — The Berlin Town Council last week finalized a new fee and rate schedule for the town-owned Timberlin Golf Course this year, as well as fees for myriad town services.
Berlin Director of Golf Sol Guerrero presented the 2026 Timberlin Golf Course rates, which include modest increases in outings, leagues, and season passes.
Daily resident fees will rise by $1 where rates did not increase in 2025. Friday outings will now be priced at weekend rates.

Guerrero said the increases are necessary to ensure revenue equals expenses, as required by town ordinance, and that Timberlin’s prices remain slightly above average compared with area courses.
Timberlin is located at 330 Southington Road, Berlin.

Other fees approved
The council also adopted the 2026 town fee schedule.
Berlin Finance Director Kevin Delaney said no new fees were added, but increases were approved for animal control boarding and quarantine services, parks and recreation programs, and updated health district fees.
Future Central Connecticut Health District fee changes will be incorporated administratively and posted online.
