Berlin Dems To Protest ICE Killings In Minneapolis
A protest event will take place in Berlin this weekend to 'Stand With Minnesota.'

BERLIN, CT — Local Democrats will be gathering in town to "Stand With Minnesota" regarding the recent killings of two protestors by federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents.
The Berlin Democratic Town Committee announced Thursday that it will be at the corner of Farmington Avenue and Lower Lane on Saturday, Jan. 31.
There, they will conduct a protest called "Ice Out! Day of Action" to protest the actions of ICE in Minnesota. The protest will take place from 10 a.m. to noon.

In two separate incidents this month, ICE agents shot and killed in broad daylight a 37-year-old mother and a 37-year-old UCU nurse who were opposing ICE's actions in rounding up immigrants.
The killings have drawn outrage nationally against the Trump Administration, and images of the killings shocked many.
